Vintage Power Wagon Rally

Hello, we would like to thank everyone for attending this year's Vintage Power Wagons Rally.
We had a great turnout especially considering the recent spike in fuel costs and the unusually nasty rain storms . But for all that were able to make it, we had a lot of fun including some trail rides that were almost on a par with the mud runs at the Kerr Farm.
We had the pleasure of seeing old friends again and making many new friends. It seems we had a lot of new attendees this year and they seemed to fit right in the groove and had a great time.
There was a group that drove all the way from British Columbia, Canada and another group that drove non-stop from Utah. It's great to see people with so many people with so much enthusiasm.
Every year we hand out ballots to judge which trucks people feel are extraordinary and stand out . Since every truck at the rally has some special meaning to some one, and many have countless time and money invested, it's often hard to judge one truck over an other.
However these following trucks seemed to stand out to many. Unfortunately Jill Stearnes Town Wagon  "The Purple People Eater " fell between two categories, so we had no award for her despite receiving many votes in each category. Her truck is a great example of a true reincarnation of a town wagon that has had a lot of fun over the years and  has been beautifully restored.
